Looking for more performance
I might be alone here but IMHO if you are looking for no hastle performance get a OS .46FX or an OS .50SX. OS motors draw fuel great in vertical. I would try a APC 12.25x3.75 or an 11.5x4 prop. If you do decide to get a new motor and go with a 2 stroke get rid of that stock muffler and put either a Tower muffler or a Mousse Can muffler on it or try putting a Mousse Can on your LA. You might do a search and check out the Mousse Can Mufflers. Something else that works well are OS #8 glow plugs. They burn hotter and do increase rpms. As far as servos I think that servos make a big difference especially if you are going to do knife edge or any maneuver that you need holding power. I would say standards are fine for the aelerons but you might want to upgrade for the rudder and elevator. I think that futaba S9001 are a pretty good reliable upgrade for about $45 a piece. Hitec 605's are ok except in my opinion Hitec analog servos don't center well at all but that's just my experience. As far as programming your computer radio I would just play with it. Start out with reading your manual and figuring out Flaperons and elevator to flaperon mixing for some really tight loops also great for low and slow stuff. I also use spoileron mixing for Harriers and elevators but be careful with using spoilerons because it makes the elevator really ineffective so if the motor dies with this on turn it off or look out. Yeah I've been their....Just my .02 cents. I hope this helps
