Homasote is recyceld paper, compressed into something very similar to the wood most put it together furniture is (i think its called MDF) The old fashion bullitin boards (not cork) were made of the same type of material. Holds pins real well, and lasts a super long time. The piece my father had was ginven to him by a lady who's husband had passed away. He had used it for years, then we built 4 or 5 gliders and 5 or 6 glow planes on. The only reason we got rid of it was me and my brother used it to throw our chinese stars at it in the back yard. (worked good for that too.

I didn't enlarge or counter balance the tail feathers,but I will probably re do them. Just got to building and decided not to. Now I'm rethinking it again.
