RE: E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO
Hello everyone, glad I found this thread, I have wanted a heli forever and never been able to afford the up keep on a Nitro one (my father flew them in the early 90s)
but the E ones are great I think. I seen the Blade CP 's fly at SEFF 2005 they were killer even in the 25 MPH winds.
But they were expert pilots at the controls also, my question is. can a person just starting out really fly one of these in a little bit of wind? Its about to be winter and they will be wind here almost everyday.
I have flown helis on a flight sim and I think I could fly a real one, I know how to fly one ( the controls and all) I know its different in real life but... I really think I could get the hang of it I am a fast learner.
I would like to know if something does happen what break most the time? or is that a stupid question, as in well it could be anything just depends.
I have a Field next to my house that has tall tall grass I thought about cutting a spot out maybe 10x10 for me to stand in and for the heli to sit in and fly in that area to hover then once i got up 5 feet or so flying over the tall grass so if i got in trouble i could chop the power and it land in the tall grass ...good or bad idea? I heard someone tell a guy to do this at club Field thats why I asked
The pro has better stuff such as blades and all but should a beginner put the regular blades on to start with?
does anyone know a site that lists all the parts for the heli? as in the 3 in one and stuff cause I have heard about things like that going out and being way expensive.
OK Thanks for anyone who can answer my questions, I fly airplanes and run RC trucks and need more of a challenge
