Rob Mine is the 70 size Kantana. I will reinforce it as much as I can before flying. It is a cool looking plane.
I may have to fly it if my repaired UCD doesn't fly ok. I have Saito 80 or a ST 75 to put in it. At 5 1/2# it should fly ok with either.


torombolo HS-55 would be fine for throttle on UCD. Keep the weight down as much as possible. Mine flew ok at 6 1/2# with a Saito 82. Vertical was good, not great. These guys are a wealth of information.
Also if no one has mentioned it. Leave the hard wood blocks off the firewall and put cowl screws right in the firewall to save a little weight.
