Default RE: CHRISTEN EAGLE RTF

I got one of these about 3 weeks ago, and -- though there are several problems with the plane the way it arrives -- I have enjoyed it.

They don't tell you a CG, but I figured one out -- and found the plane is extremely tail heavy with the battery in the stock location. Since this is a nice little plastic battery bay, you can't move it forward -- without pretty major surgery. I ended up doing this surgery, and -- though it doesn't look very good -- it flies pretty well.

The stock brushless motor puts out only 105 watts on my Whatt meter -- enough to ROG and fly OK, but it seems to need about 2/3 throttle to stay airborne.

Anyone who gets one should also compare the incidence between the two wings, and also the horizontal stab. These were pretty out of whack one mine, but it's not too hard to even them up. If you have modeling experience, or can get some help from someone who does, and you're able to make some adjustments -- this is a nice little plane, and a fantastic deal.
