dustin... have you tried to hold the truck with those monster meats.... the torque rips it out of your hand... I have tried to loosen and tighten the screw and it doesn't make a difference.. I think as a last resort, i'll change the shift mechanism and see if that works... it feels like the others, but I've eliminated everything else.. It may just be the larger tires have changed the ratio to the point where it won't shift... I have gotten it to 2nd gear once, but it started out in 2nd and bogged badly... it did run in the upper 40's on radar, but control was a major issue.
as far as 33 mph.... measured on a bushnel radar gun and its pretty accurate... my gs sut was in the mid 40's, kyosho buggy the same... the clutch is an aluminum one and engages perfect.. will pull the fronts off the ground under acceleration.... I'll try to re-setup tonight and see what happens..
