msouth12, I had some lightweight digitals in mine. What I did when swapping out the S100 for the YS 110 was to mount the engine as close to the firewall as possible. The cowl still works with the engine aft of suggested.

Radio gear in the aft portion of the compartment.

My battery position ended up 1/2 way down the tail. 5 cell 6V on a cusom mount to stand it on edge due to how narrow the fuse was back there. All accessed by a hatch on the bottom.

I think that the 4/40 linkage in the tail helped a bit as well. It can be done without the polution of 'lead'. Good luck. Joe
