The way I started and still learning to do rolling circles/harriers, is by just using the
elevator with the ails./throttle... I was getting no where using elev/rud/etc., I'd get about
3-5 rolls and that was it... I'm getting a little better using the rud. maybe half+ circle now
But........ I can get a pretty nice oneor more now with just the elev. applying just before
the wing gets to vert. to turn and releasing slightly aft. to keep level.. Rolling harriers...
work in progress... Trying to do them like Kyle... "Maybe" in about 10yrs... [&o]
It's an ever learning hobby..

Thanks for the info Ron. I need to do some practicing on the sim. I'm having a hard time with the sim though. I have AFPD and I was able to download other planes when I had my other computer but with the new computer it doesn't seem to want to load them into the sim. Gotta check into that. Anyway, speaking of Kyle, he flies at the new flying club that I joined. I haven't seen him there when I've been there but I heard he was there last Sunday. Another "famous" guy that flies there is Dave Villwock, the hydroplane racer that used to drive the Budwieser. I think he drives the Elam now. Something like that. I helped him with his 40% Carden when I was there on Monday. Real nice guy. Excellant flyer. That's one thing about that (new to me) flying club, lots of IMAC flyers there. Sometimes that's a pain. Waiting for them to finish their routines. Good flyers though.
