I fly at the same field as whaturi. I can assure you that this plane out-pulls the YS110 by a long shot. I have had 2 of these planes, one was with a well broken in YS110 on 30% that lunched the exhaust valve then the plane got an OS108, and the other was with a Saito 125. Neither had the power that this 150 has.

We had a member attach an altimeter to his plane last weekend, If I remember correctly he got it up to either 2200 or 2400 feet. About half that distance was straight up, then a little level flight to get some speed and then straight up the rest of the way, followed by an inverted flat spin most of the way down and like he said, he is using 10%.

This thing does not stick around long after he plants the throttle out of a hover and if you look close in the video, it's really rich, I'd say it's very close to foamy power.

About the only thing I think that might have a chance of out racing him from a hover would be my DA50 powered Cap at 13.75 pounds. He might beat me from the start but I think I could catch him but since he out hovers me by a long shot, I would not even try it.
