I finally got my HL Tiger 1 working, today (the one on which I wrote my review).

I took it apart and replaced all of the wires by soldering them, rather than using butt connectors, and the tank is operational, once more.......even though I'm not
exactly sure what I did to fix it.
The only problem that I am having now (other than the smoke unit making all sound and no smoke.....and the fact that the BBs just roll out of the barrel) is the 7 foot antenna range. [

] Granted, when I relocated the stock antenna, I cut it to a length that matched the true Tiger 1, so it is shorter, but I tried a normal-sized stock antenna with the same effect.

What is the best way to repair the antenna range? Should I just coil more wire inside of the hull, between the antenna post and the board? Does it matter which gage of wire I use?
Any advice would be appreciated. I've come to far to quit, now.
Thanks,
Jason
