Make sure your receiver's antenna wire is about 18inches long and UNCOILED and guide the wire around the tank and avoid getting too close to the motors. I had the same problem with my 1/35 scale Hobbico King Tiger. Range was 3 feet!![] Added longer wire and routed the wire around the inside of the hull away from the motors. Range now is about 15 to 20ft.
