A lot of people are flying them with 8 cell (9.6v) packs. I don't think I could get 8 cell packs to fit without bending new servo wires to move them back some. 8.4v gives good power though. www.bydusa.com is selling 8.4v 1000 mah Nimh packs for $25.50 for 2 of them!
