I have for a number of years used 5min epoxy for exhast gaskets, just make sure the port is pointing down until the epoxy goes off, any epoxy inside the exhast stub gets burnt out straight away after starting and the epoxy sandwiched inbetween the cylinder head and exhast stub is protected by being sqashed, comes apart easily and is easily cleaned off.
