Default RE: Dual tail or DD??

Well Ive tried out the DD setup and decided even though it works very well it does not solve the burning tail motor problem. All Im doing right now is hovering in my basement and the motor reaches extremely high temps.Gets so hot you dont wanna touch it for more than 2 secs. I got about 12 flights out of it and after a minor crash it quit working.
I think the life of this motor is a little longer than the stock motor but it dies pretty fast just the same.
I just ordered the CNC dual tail motor mount from HeliDirect so Im hoping itll be here next week some time. I believe the only way to get extended motor life is to go dual motors.I picked up a pair today so I can at least fly my heli till it gets here.
So even though the DD has good power and controls the tail well I dont think it has the life span needed.
