I was wondering from a business stand point and I have owned two in my life not hobbyshops but business just the same
How is it that a mailorder place can sell cheaper? Both have a buildings,both have a light bill, both pay taxes
in fact the mailorder place should have more overhead someone has to take the order, pack the order, ship the order they mail out thousands of catalogs every mouth or two they have to maintain a website.
Now I can say even though my LHS is more supportive of cars and trains they do have prices like mailorder and the tax equals the shipping in most cases.
I hear others say the same thing in fact my LHS owner has told his supplier that he wants to be equal in price to the mail order and so far it's been the case.
