I'm sure your craftsmanship is exponentially higher than the Chinese assembly line that the Cox version will get built on, but if you had their assembly jigs and could clone yourself a couple of times, you could build about four of these a day. I've drooled over the thought of one of these since I saw the first mention of them. I have a smaller Sportsman WACO, sport scale of a UPF-7, and love to fly it, but the YMF is much prettier, plus this one is plenty big for a gasser and smoke system. I'd love to build the kit, but I couldn't do it for what the ARF costs, plus I already have 4 bipes lined up to build, plus a couple of others. Just hope I live long enough and don't go blind first.
Four of these a day? You have slipped a gear there khodges. You have obviously never seen the framework of the 1/5th scale PICA WACI YMF. I don't care how many jugs you have, that's not going to happen(at least if they folow the parts for the original kit). I could give a very good flame here, but I'll let it pass. I think that you need to do a little looking at the different threads in Kit building, and Vintage/antique forums. This might just open your eyes a tad.
No hard feelings, you have just never attempted the build on one of these.
