I installed AFPD in vmware a few months ago. It worked like a frame at every 3 sec. Since then I have a mail and apache on the machine and no mood to tweak around.

I wouldn't expect it to run well in vmware unless you were running it on a Cray perhaps..

But, if we can get a sim to run with wine or cadega, performance could be the similar to windoze, and at the ery least acceptable on a higher-end machine
