The Kyosho 4mm U-Joint at both ends is much shorter and will give you much less work to apply.

Metal prop? No where. I have been waiting for four months for my Korean boat. TS? Use plastic is good enough.
If you wish to use 8 cells X 2, you need to change a few things. Look out too fast as it will flip your boat too, even at straight line. Hard to make sharp turns. Water etc., overheating, melting (including Dean plugs) etc.
