Default RAM 750 CP to Thrust Values

No, I do not believe that is a good assumption. I believe that one of the ways that the 1000s & the 750Ps can make more thrust for the same physical size engine is that they use a slightly bigger compressor with a greater throughput. But you'd still think that at the same CP there would be roughly the same thrust, but I don't think it is that linear. I ran a 750F for quite a while and then I was given a 1400 ECU to bump up the thrust. I was told that if the engine ran vibration free at 1400 CP, then it was OK to run it like that, but obviously there is going to be a shorter bearing life at 1400 than at 1300. So I never ran at full CP except for vertical maneuvers, takeoff and so on. But then again, depending on the airframe/engine combo, that's usually a good idea anyway. Bottom line is that we know that, on a 750F, 1300 is about 17 pounds, so 1400 is somewhere around 18 to 18.5 pounds.
