I'm one to admit my errors as you so fondly remember about the shim. I pointed out my own lack of shim maintenance. Nothing like dredging up the past to try to slam someone. It would have been a much better put down if I wasn't the one admitting my own errors.

I guess I inferred too much from your paragraph that you wanted a fail safe and you went on to talk about your crash. When you put both of those comments in the same paragraph, I thought for sure that you had a fail safe issue that caused your crash. Since fail safes are used to stop the boat from taking off in a low battery situations, I concluded you had a battery loss issue. I guess I assumed too much from your paragraph structuring. Since the fail safes I know about will not effect rogue radio strikes that take over your boat, you might try the new spectum radio system, as it cannot be interfered with by other radios and you will not have any more unfortunate accidents like you had. Its a little pricey, but worth it to protect your boat.

I also was one of James' first customers and I also have a rudder and I've got a turn fin on the way that I'm going to try. Who cares?

Glad to hear you started back on your meds
