What is the difference between your rutter and stock??...Looks to be the same length but the water pickup is lower???


I have run 9 tankfulls of fuel so far. The needle is set at 2 1/8 right not. Eng. temp 120ish. The motor seems to have a flat spot in it for just a second and then it catches???....Im at sea level and temps are high 80's do you think i can go in more with the needle adj.???..
Also what shoud idleing RPM's be????

Mods done to the boat are Pad on the boat has been sanded,wing removed, rutter and aftermarket turn fin sharpend, Canopy has all the openings removed. The rutter is tucked in slightly and the prop shaft is even with water intake hole and a touch positive.
I would like to pull the shim from the head.Do i need a new gasket????
