Default RE: Platt Spitfire build

Finally got a motor for the Spit. MVVZ35 Made a muffler and got it all mounted. Do you think that will be enough cooling? Got the tail feathers all glued on and hope to get some paint on soon. I did have a bench crash, cracked the engine fairings and the fushlage. It's fun getting old and clumsy. got all the repairs done , just need to put some primer on.
Still have the cocpit to go . recieved a Brit piolit from FT. It is a little small 1/6 but I am on the short side too.
I plan on painting some aluminum paint on the plane first . then my colors. Maybe rub through with some steel wool to get a wearhered look. Wearthering is not my cup of tea so if you have any suggestions let me know. Rich
