TGA would sell you...a TGA pipe! Theirs is good too, but the advantage of the weston is it is much smaller and needs no pipe hangar at all. The TGA one is also pre-tuned, and seals in a similar way. Price is about the same for both, but I think the weston is better, for sure.
If I had the TGA sitting around, I would use it, but if I was about to buy a new pipe(I am, actually!) I would get another weston.
Sounds like your solution is the way to go if you have a byron #5, though, and you want to use it.
