Weston Pipe
I'm building a Byroblaster Enforcer. Although I already have a TGA pipe for it I am considering getting a Weston pipe for less weight and less modification to the fuse.
I'd appreciate hearing from anyone that has put a number of flights on a Weston/Byron pipe. My concern is the springs that attach the pipe and how well they might hold up under extended use with all the vibration, etc. The spring wire diameter is quite small as well as the holes in the pipe flange that they go into. I've seen some Weston pipes where the springs will enlarge the holes and wear into the aluminum pipe flange.
Will the pipe and springs hold up?
Will the pipe start to sag after a while and not provide a good seal at the header ?
