Hi everyone, owned my Marder now for 2 weeks.
Been running the engine in, so far 2 full tanks of correctly mixed 2 stroke fuel have been used.
I go to start it about 4 days later to run it again on the 3rd, but theres no life??
I push primer once, so fuel is right next to the carb, usualy it started in 2 pulls. This time nothing,
So i reset the carb to factory setting 1 1/4 turns out. Try again, nothing.
So I thought it might be the Spark plug, took it out and was a bit of black on the end of it. So I cleaned it up, checked the spark and its working.
Try it again and still nothing. It sounds as though there might be a bit of life in it, but just no bang! Does anyone know what gap the spark plug should be?

However, I did fit a K&N filter to it after the 2nd tank, would this stop it starting?

I have tried choke on & off, filter on and off, pinching fuel line etc..


Any ideas? Please Help my marder!!!
