They aren't crap.. I have them and after broken in they slide very good. I'm using a CO27 PRO motor on soft springs and they get crazy angle while having minimum wear on the threads. I would reccomend them.. I have Tamiya D-types as well and they aren't as good.
Tamiya D=Softer compound=Grippy and wears down faster
HPI D=Hard compound=More slide and longer tire life

Has any one had any experience with the HPI drift tires? I kno the Yokomo tires are good, but I heard they wear out really fast and I dont really want to have to roder new tires every week. Any insight on these tires or any other drift tire would be great.
