Fox .25 Inverted
Hello all-
I'm building a Pica 40" span Mustang and the plans call out for mounting the engine inverted. I favor this installation, as it disturbs little of the visible cowling and will contribute to a cleaner look. The plane has landing gear so will not be doing any belly landings. My question is this: I've heard from some that inverted mounting of two strokes is inviting problems, particularly to starting and flooding. I can easily mount right-side up or even at a 45, but I need to make my decision soon. Any experience out there with this situation in general, or this motor specifically??? Thanks.
