b/c of your post I also ordered an APlus 20C lipo from my boys at helidirect... they shipped Fri and I hope to get Tue...
but since I wasn't familiar w/ APlus I rang up Steve at HD, and he said it would be a good choice for my BL setup (which I got from HD when I got the 36):

JGF 400DH 4000KV Outrunner motor
Dynam 30A Brushless ESC BEC 2A/5V

so how you like that batt? enough juice? I'm a fairly hard flyer (BCP); and like to hammer the throttle and sticks in idle-up mode now & then, etc

quick question: in terms of setting up the outrunner, ESC, & lipo, can you point me to a good thread (in terms of wiring or what type connector from the ESC to the batt; the best place to secure the ESC to the frame; etc )

lastly, with your BL setup, what pinion do you run? I have an Align set-screw 3-pak 9T-10T-11T pinion set ( http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...rodID=AGNM1050 ) and I guess I should start with the 9T... but since these are not push-on pinions, I wonder if the setscrew will grip against the motor shaft so as not to slip?
