RE: how do your buggies hold up while bashing
On my OFNA 9.5 Pro, since I bought it (used) in March of 2005, I have bent a shock shaft, which I bent back and am still using (wish I didn't buy a replacement). I have sheared 3 wing mount screws, and lost 2 steering knuckle screws. I also burned out 5 cheapy steering servos, before I bought my first good one (how does that saying go again "buy quality, buy once" ). I also lost a CVD pin once.
Parts I replaced when first I bought it, because the previous owner was an idiot and didn't maintain it:
Complete front/rear diffs, center TORSEN gears, spur gear, clutch bell gear, all bearings, steering plate, transmission cases, swaybars, swaybar mounts, fuel tank, fuel lines, fuel filters, engine, pipe, radio, receiver, receiver battery, switch, first (of many) steering servos, screw kit, body, wing, shock shafts, rear shock bodies, shock rebuild kits, steering knuckles, clutch shoes, clutch springs, etc.
