Default RE: JetJoe OWNERS thread

I'm always looking for a good boat anchor and with a new JJ1800 its fair to remind folks that if you send your broken non running JJ to someone competent who has modded and ran these JJs for a few years they will provide a fair working turbine with one of the least residual values world wide for its price. Compared to the early days of Kurt's ply wood compressors these parts are of extraordinary engineering quality that barely fit together. They don't run mainly because the CC, injectors and manifolds are found usually to be SNAFU. That said I went to a show here on the weekend and saw two JJs flying on both days and not one of mine[8D][.

Jetjoes are more for home turbine builders who like to open and repeatedly fix their turbines with new upgrade parts from Joe [:@][:@] like correct the metal inconel sticks in the Combustion Chambers, fuel manifolds, lube injectors, bearings and NGV's
drilled to spec etc Its raining this weekend so I might open mine to see it its fit to run for the next few months or if it will need some more replacements parts (if Joe replies)
