Sorry to hear your plane crashed.
Maybe it was radio related?
I have that same trainer that I use to experiment with.
When I lift off it's at close to flying speed.
I burn up close to 75 feet before I trim it to rotate back.
So far no problems and it flies great.
The next step is reducing the dihedral
