2 Persons have won AMA elections through Write-In.

One was your D-6 VP in 1980.

A Write-In would have to meet the qualifications such as attaining Leader status. NBD.

In this age, such a candidacy would be very difficult because no one cares enough to even know where their ballot is, much less what to do with it.
