It worked!

After the glue dried and I sanded the excess off, they were tested in place. Not a hint of separation anywhere. So, if it happens to any other ones, this is how they will be repaired. I also backed all of the crews out and re-tightened them only to the point where the torsion bar started to move. Hopefully that helps some, too.
