Tim, glad to hear your OK..Did your life pass in front of you for a split second? I didn't change my tail, I just added a skid made from a beer can and the provided silver tabs. I did angle the tail or pulled it out at the top of the plastic holder about 1/16th",to give it more lift. My tail is very beat up,I made anew one out of a plate but all it did was nose dive. The tail I made weighed in at .7 grams my old tail was at 1.5 grams. It flies great with old tail. I am working on a tail made from .007" shim stock I will keep you posted. I will try to post some pics of my tail later. That didn't sound right...
