I have a hyper 7, but am also casting an eye over the MGT. The MGT won't be as fast but it will probably be slightly easier to use and I would think is slightly more adapted for bashing. It has a huge engine, 2 speeds and a reverse as well as 2 methods of starting (pull start and cordless drill). The MGT will also go over much rougher terrain.
I love buggies and would not sell mine to buy a truck, but I think from what you say you want to do with it I'd suggest you look at the MGT very hard
Just for comparison (in case you didn't know) all buggies are single speed (Unless modified), no reverse, less ground clearance. They do however handle MUCH better
