I am currently using an OS #8 but am told that the OS F plug is also good for this engine. The recommended method for starting this engine is a back-flip against compression. That will be my norm once the engine is properly broken in and readily starts. For now I am using a Sullivan Dynatron, connected to a 12volt Motorcycle battery -- it easily turns over the engine if you start with the prop up against compression.
