Try giving your truck more than 10sec to warm up. Try to warm it up for 30sec before you tune for performance.

Also, to help against vapor lock, try to direct the fuel line away from the engine and head as much as possible. The heat can cause the fuel to vaporize in the fue line if the fuel gets hot enough. Try lengthening your pressure line to help prevent the fuel from foaming.

I don't know if T-Maxx and S-Maxx have a problem of leaning as the tank runs down (we Savage owners call this the "half tank lean"), but if this problem also extends to other trucks, when you notice the half tank lean, bring it in and richen the mixture to compensate.
