Ah, the power of marketing and advertising on the masses... The Hyper 7 is still a formidable club racing buggy behind the right hands, but most people think because buggies are newer and more expensive that they are far superior because they see it in magazines and they see the pros driving it. FYI, I have spoken with a few sponsored drivers that preferred their older buggies but HAD to run the latest and greatest from their sponsors.

I guarantee that a good driver with a decently setup Hyper 7 can still wallop 99% of club racers with Hyper 8s, Kyosho 777 sp2, mbx5s, etc.
