ORIGINAL: hella_copter
one is the flat slider that slides the pitch controller up and down. when i spool up the servo moves the slider but the slider doesn't move the metal rod. at the bottom, under the flat slider, i can see into the shaft and i can see the metal rod in there. the hole i am looking through looks threaded. should there be a screw there?
the second is the connection between the tail blades and the round bit that pushes and pulls them to adjust their angle. i can "click" those together but they come apart real easy. i keep having to do it. should i glue these? replace something?
thanks for any and all help!
Good morning Hella_copter...
I think you have found your lift problem.... There definately should be a little grub screw in that pitch adjustment collar to lock it onto that inner shaft. Without that, your blades will only ever spin flat. Once you have one in there you can set your pitch.
As for your tail problems, havent come across that one. Can you take a pic of the tail for us to see if it looks right and point to the parts that are coming apart. If you mean the link to the ball connectors on the tail blade holders then definately no glue, they should be a snap on fit.
In case it helps I have taken a snap of my tail assembly for comparison for you.
Cheers, Dave.
