No, if the idle is good, DO NOT adjust that screw! Look where the throttle servo linkage connects to the carb. There is a screw that holds that barrel lever in place. That is the LOW SPEED NEEDLE. If you screw that in 1/8 turn, you can lean out the low end, giving you MAD ACCELERATION from a stopped position. Give that a shot.
