Default RE: Tamiya F-150 Race Truck

I am sure any performance motor will bring up the performance by a bit..

On my T-Egg, the magazine tested it w/ the stock 540 silver can and clocked it at 12.6mph or something.. and then they swapped in a 19T motor, and it was doing 21mph...

An 19T is not even that extreme, so.......

The truck looks REALLY good, man!! Great job on the paint job!! Now go put some bearings on it!!

ORIGINAL: hunter306

Well after some extensive driving with it yesturday and this morning, I'm definately going to have to get some Ball Bearings for it.

The drive train is very complex, which leads to higher resistance on the stock plastic bushings. The tamiya 540 can is getting about 15mins of runtime on a 3000mah battery but it seems very sluggish...

I think some bearings and an upgraded motor should bring it up to a quicker performance level.... Not that I'm expecting a race car by any means!
