Fern, I trying to take some video of my mono/jet doing a take off and landing, by myself... I almost gave up on it , I could not get it to fly to save my life. The only thing it does is a nose dive.It was a combo of things: 1.I mounted the jet motors as far back as I could w/blades about 1/16" from the wing edge, not a good idea..I think The prop wash was going under the tail.Now the props are about 1/4" from the edge.2.Tail position with this mod is very critical,it took my 3 days to get it flying good... Mow it will take off and lad again.. Glad to hear you finally getting lights,you won't want to fly during the day anymore.. I also want to do the 16 step Tx mod...
