Since this is your first non electric - maybe for your first Nitro Truck you'd want to look into something easier to maintain, has electric start, and, is more durable - would stand up to thr rigors of crashes and, big jumps. I would also look into the Hobby Shops around you to see what trucks they have the most parts support for. My advice to you is get a new Revo 3.3. It will be plenty fast and, if you decide you want to race down the line it will take just a few hopups/changes to make it a good racer!
A gallon of Nitro Fuel is around $28-$32 US. Figure on 15 to 20 minutes per 5 ounce tank and, there are 144oz in a gallon. Tires should last a while if you running offroad but, if you run primarily on the street you will go through tires more often.
