You might try the Harry Higley series of books, available from Tower Hobbies. If you have more specific questions I'm sure they will get answered here, but I think putting ARF's together and getting the performance and longevity requires some experience, best gained by just doing it, and difficult to explain....You might try one more ready to fly ARF trainer, one with a glow engine already installed and then you can see how the factory did it. If you get one with a glow engine you will probably get a 4 channel radio that can then be used on other models, I am not familiar with the models you already have but suspect they are only three channel. The best place to learn though is to join a local flying club and observe and ask questions...
