I don't think your plane was a Phoenix 9.
Maybe Jon, Don's son, will see this thread and clarify.
I remember seeing just a couple partial views of the Phoenix 9 prototype and it was quite a departure from the earlier Phoenix series.
I don't even know if it was ever kitted or plans offered.
Your model looks pre P-8...I'm guessing maybe even a 6.

Why do you believe it was a Phoenix 9?
