Here is a photo of a Stafford Rearwin Speedster. Per Eric Rearwin, the color scheme is 100% correct. The plane is #311 and the strip is dark green with a 1" gold trim. The paint and trim were done at the factory as a special order. To the best of his knowledge and from the records he has, this was the ONLY Speedster to leave the factory in yellow and WITHOUT the wrap around stripe on the cowl.
Campy, I was aware of this aircraft, but I wasn't aware that it left the factory in these colors. Here's a picture of the real bird. Did you already have this picture? Did you have others as well?
