don't change your trim from hover to ff, transitional lift causes the heli to climb into the wind and descend away from the wing, you can't trim that out! fly the heli with the cyclic and use the pitch to control climbs and descents, also easier with a govenor. c-ya Ron

I did change my FF trim from hover trim just to make FF a little easier. Now I have to hold the sticks during brief hovers to keep her steady. Just rudder and cyclic. But flying into the wind will always give you ups and downs. Just make sure to have some extra room.
