Default RE: Air Hogs Aero Ace!

ORIGINAL: doser

new to the forum here. there is so much to read through. I have simple battery charging question though. is it ok to try and charge the plane even if it has bit of charge left in it?. or should I run it down first? and what is "cycling" the battery? Is it harmful if I accidentally tried again to charge a full battery?

Also, is there any maintenence or whatnot that can or should be done with these motors to keep them running well? This plane is just too much fun....

thanks in advance....
You don't have to worry too much about these batteries. They don't need to be fully discharged and the charger won't overcharge them. The only thing I would be careful of is not leaving one discharged very long. Lipos will not charge if the voltage drops too low. The plane cuts off at this voltage (~3V) but all batteries lose a little power just sitting on the shelf.
