why would you want a range of over 300 metres its doubtfull you would even be able to see your boat at that range let alone tell which way round it was .i live near to the largest european boating lake for model racing yaughts and its about 200 metres long by about 80 metres at a guess.no way would i ever go further than that ,try walking 300 metres away from your boat on land and see how small it looks!! now tell me you could tell which way round it is when the water is glistening with the sun on it?.i suspect the answer is a big fat no.theres no possible reason to go that far away and even if there was whats the point? the idea is to have fun and to be able to see your boat not a speck on the horizon.the only radio gear i knowq that will reach that far is a plane one and flying a plane that far away is also a big no no ,trust me they get very small that far away and normally end up as firewood!!.ask me how i know that one err which way is my plane facing errr oops[].r
