I took the stir stick plane out in the wind this afternoon. I fly in an area that blocks the wind due to a semi L shaped house and outbuilding. I could see the plane trying to go with the wind, but the input to the motors translated to inputs to the body of the plane. And that caused the plane to continue to be under control. A standard mono mod would probably have been lost in these winds. Tim
